The best laptops are from alienware but they are way overpriced.
The next best thing is Dell. They offer a 2 year warranty and you can customize a laptop on their website.

I have a Dell Inspiron 5400 and I love it. I have had it since 2003 and now there are a lot more options to put on it. I like Dell because you can call them and they will help you build exactly what you want/need. And they have great technical support. They also now have Dell On Call so that if you have a problem you can go to their website and authorize them to use you laptop. They fix the problem and sign it back over to you. They also offer on site warranty - which I have used twice and it is great. The tech came to my home and repaired the laptop.

lol a mac but mine is a compaq it is the best. lol just google it. a compaq is hp. go to hp.com
