When I said good-bye and walked away with a JVC player in my hand jamming out on "Lines on my Face", from Peter Frampton she smiled at me and soon I was attending basic training at Lackland Airforce Base, she was never seen again. She was my first true love and that was 26 years ago and still today she will always be the best thing that ever happen to me.

I seen her last at Schweinfurt, Germany, 1979 and her name is Judy Shuler, we were dependents. I flew to Texas and that was the saddest day of my life and the last day I ever seen her. Amazing how storng love can be we never forget, but we heal.

Lines on my head from that one thing she said
She spoke of strangers that don't sleep two a bed
Kept on trying, buying time, not waiting on fate

Lines on my face, while I laugh lest I cry
Speed city dirt and gritty waving me goodbye
So many people,my family of friends
Trying so hard to make me smile untill this heartache mends
I saw where you came from
called out your name
but there's no answer
We lived on your doorstep
I made you my wife but I don't need that
Ice in her eyes, frozen tears would never be a surprise
You can't erase a dream you can only wake me up
My mind is turning slower, never to accept defeat
It don't matter where I live I still got a house to heat
I saw where you came from
called out your name
but there's n

Tony Seres was my first true love. I still think about him, but I'm happily married now. He will always have a chunk of my heart though. There is just something about a first love that never goes away. I think it's the innocence that we remember.
