I am just curious what normal/ typical is?

Um, with us it is at least five or six per DAY (and he wants more), but he is a sex addict, so we couldn't be considered typical.

There is no "normal" in this case since all people and couple differ!
See for some couples once a week is ample enough while for others, once a day is NOT enough!
It all depends on the people in the couple and their interest and compatibility in sex... And of course, sex should be spontaneous and not scheduled in the partner's daily schedules!
For example, my wife and I can go on a full week without sex (especially if she's during her period; she rarely feels horny or sexy in that period) while other times we go at it 10 times in a week and stuff like that. It all depends on too many factors, especially time and energy; often we're just too tired to engage in sex, or we're just not in the mood at the same time and stuff like that.
There isn't a norm in these cases, so I wouldn't worry about what's the "nromal" amoutn per week...
The important thing is that you are happy and comfortable with what you have, and so is your partner... Everything else is outside interference!

Well,depending on normal marriage ups and downs,I went from maybe once a month,to 3 times a night!I realize that is not normal,but right now we are reconnecting with each other,and it is like we are 17 again!

usually they do it on a nightly basis, but commonly as statistics said 3-4 times a week for a career oriente couples

Many factors!! Depends on health, lifestyle, free time, etc. What works for some doesn't work for others.

once in the morning before he goes to work, once in his office while having lunch and once at night before sleeping... heez. weekends, he gets the most.. but we are working, so we use as much time we can find during the weekends to have intimate time... .. my guy is lucky
