It can be an email, it might be a news article, or maybe it's a web site....it doesn't matter, because none of them will allow me to click on a photo to make it larger. Even when it actually gives me the option of making the photo larger... I can click on it and all it does is re-post the photo at the exact same size...instead of making it any larger. I know there has to be a way to solve this problem without me destroying my computer with a sledge-hammer....isn't there?

That aint the way it works homey! A pic on the net or in your mail is only a certain size! To enlarge a photo, you would first have to copy it to your pc and then enlarge it with image editing software. The quality of the new pic would be very poor! When you see an enlarging icon or button on a website it is simply taking you to another page with an enlarged pic! You must be new to PCs and the net! I would suggest that you sell the PC if this irritates you because you aint even seen irritation yet!

Have you tried:
right-cl on the picture
choose Format Picture
cl Size
I would put a checkmark in the box to lock aspect ratio
and in relative to picture size
at the top, set the height, then just click in the box for width
it will automatically adjust
cl o.k.

Doesn't that work for you?

it happens to me also, i think the resolution of photo. if the resolution doesnt adapt to the desired size (larger) it wont work. unless you have the machine adaptable for graphics or enlargement of photo. as i do have computer rentals, or did you try to click the above percentage use for enlargement, like 75% or 100% etc. on the microsoft or scanner.
