A 27 as a composite score puts you about the 90th percentile, which is pretty good. Depending on your class rank, you may qualify for a dean's scholarship ($3000/year for two years) or a provost's scholarship ($4000/year for two years). There may be other scholarships you qualify for in specific areas of study. You should apply very soon to this school, if you haven't already, if you want to be considered for a scholarship. Good luck.

Congrats on your score - that's awesome. Just keep in mind that a high ACT score or a high GPA is no guarantee of success. I scored a 31 on my ACT and nearly flunked out of college - huge brain, no discipline. I found that I was pretty hot s*** in my high school, but when I got into the engineering program at Iowa State University, EVERYBODY there was hot s*** in high school. I was barely average. And with my total lack of discipline and my habit of skipping class...things didn't turn out so well.
Now, regarding your scholarships...
When I've searched for scholarship info (as I have recently gone back to college), I've found that the vast majority are need-based, and few are based on academics. Sorry to burst your bubble. That's not to say that you won't get some good scholarships, but you may have to do a lot of searching to find them, and you may have to write a lot of applications.
Good luck, and don't make the mistake I did. Take college very seriously (I mean, take a little time to have some fun so you don't burn out, but don't start skipping class or putting off projects).

ACT score- good. GPA- not so hot. Most schools will want at least a 3.5 coupled with the 27 ACT. Their first response will be: This student is smart so why is he/she not making better grades? They will assume you are lazy. My suggestion: you've got another semester to pull things back up. Shoot for a 4.0 your last semester and that will at least show them that you're starting to take your academics seriously. I work for a high school for academically advanced students and won't even look at your application unless you have a 3.25. You're not serioulsy considered unless you have a 3.5. I've rejected 32 ACT's with 3.2 GPA's.

You seem like you might be the shinier penny in the bunch, so you would probably get a scholarship, I couldn't say how much though...and by the way my twin got a 26 in seventh grade, so I wouldn't get too cocky there...
