I definately love my country, the USA as I believe most Americans do. But, I am sadly disappointed in our government as I believe Americans also are. Hate is a powerful negative word and I never use it in my thoughts or vocabulary, however.

I love this country.........and we have the government we deserve.
We mainly vote a one party ticket....either Democrat or Republican. Most are too lazy to find out what each individual thinks, instead they go with the party line. What this country needs is a big enema on Capitol Hill. Limit the term a Congressman can spend in Congress and what they receive for being a Congressman. If SS is good enough for the people, it is good enough for those in Congress. Change the way Congress gets raises. Instead of them voting them in for themselves, have a national vote. If they are doing a good job they get a raise if they are screwing us they get demoted and a pay reduction. If they are caught taking a bribe, or money from foreign lobbyists, execute them for treason.

The USA is as it is because of the governments we've had, past, present and future. For the average person, you will find with travel, they have the most in the US.
I love America and love the system of government, because as of now there is nothing better in the world offered.
Study history, today isn't so different than other times of the American past. EXCEPT we are being torn apart by actual hatred at a partisan level.

I love America, but hate is too strong a word for me here. I just think that we need a LOT of changes in order to become a better society. I am not a Bush hater or anything, I actually voted for him, it's just that Washington is gaining more and more power every day. If we are not careful, we will lose all our freedom in the name of National Security.

I'm rather fond of the USA, and I don't exactly hate the US government - I just am not real pleased with the cretins running things down in D.C. just now.

I love the USA. I won't say I hate the gov, but I am disappointed in how paralyzed it is in fixing certain issues. It truly is voting for a lesser evil in most cases.

I don't hate the government, I do not like the way it has gone the last 6 years, one party rule is bad for the U.S as it has led us to do things that we normally would not have done. Compromise is the key to why our government is successful and that has been so lacking in the last 6 years and the legislation that has come out of it, threatens our constitution and our way of life.
