i m going to hev an interview in dec. it is for scholarship to further my studies abroad. i hev 2 sumbit an essay about myself. How should i write the essay? in serious way or funny?

Show your personality. Are you serious all the time? Funny all the time? Make sure you get all your valid points across to explain how studying abroad is beneficial to you!

I cannot type everything out here because I sort of have to go. But I toke a whole course on Interviwing's and There are a lot of steps you can do to improve the interview and make evertything go well for example
Firm Handshake, Dont sit until asked, keep eye contact.
But for the essay show yourself, let them know the real you and in another part of the essay show them the serious side of you. Let them know you have a fun & serious side!

Get a book called "101 Answers to the Toughest Interview Questions" and use it to write the essay and prepare for that interview.

Stay calm and ask a lot of questions. Ask what the chances of moving forward are. Tell them what you like about having the chance to work for the company. Smile and be polite. Be yourself and dress nice, but comfortable.

It have to be in your way, it have to contain your creativity, thats is very important and smth to pay attention. It is very important when you will go at the interview you should be sure and established. You should have a position and "dont forget to breath"!!!

the essay should be serious, with touches of humor...but the humor must relate to your subject matter
