I am telling my age here but the first time I saw it was on Sunset Strip in Hollywood in 1978 when it was still pretty much an underground cult movie. People dressed up and danced in front of the screen before the movie started and you could still carry rice and toast and water pistols and lighters and all that stuff into the theater. And of course everybody did the dialogue stuff too.

It ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. That was one of my first dates with the guy I eventually married. I mean, who could resist a guy who would take you to something that wild?? LOL

First saw RHPS in April 1985 and I have been shadowcasting with various troupes since 1996 here in So Fla.

I have played every character *male and female* except Riff, Brad and Eddie. Usually I'm one of the Transylvanian's but Trixie *Lips at the beginning* and Columbia are my faves to play.

I LOVE Rocky Horror Picture Show. Not a huge freak over it though. Do you go see it in the theatres every Halloween, and do the whole dress up thing and act out all the sh*t (ie. the toast, newspaper, etc.) like you're supposed to do?

Yes! I was just laughing today in the bookstore--they had pop-type music playing on the Muzak, and suddenly on comes "There's a Light" from RHPS. How bizarrely funny.
