I want to stop taking the pill, due to the bad side effects I have been getting from taking it. Is there any particular time I should stop, like should I stop when I have finished my last pack or do I stop once I have reached the Non active week? or should I stop once my period comes back to normal after taking the non active tablets?

Stop when you finish the pack you're on right now.

You should ask your Gyn.

When I was taken off of it for a month, my doctor had me stop when I reached the non-active week pills in the pack. You would likely do the same so things work right. Be sure to start using another form of birth control.

You should probably finish up the pack then just stop taking it and switch to another form of birth control or just stop completely. I do the depo shot and havent experienced any side effects at all.

I'd just finish up the pack.

I don't think you really HAVE to take the non-active pills, as they're really just a "reminder."
