Well, I score pretty bad on the LSAT. So, my options have now been very limited. What are the chances of going to a low ranking California law school and transfering to a better one later on?

it's only feasible to transfer from a law school after the 1st year, so you'd better get your grades high that year. otherwise, you can find schools on US News and World Report that may fit your criteria. you might also want to take the LSAT again and take a prep course. good luck!

Transfers between law schools are only usually done for things like military transfers. I spent three years at George Mason University School of Law in Virginia, considered respectable, and learned almost NOTHING. I have a license but no idea how to practice law, so I don't.

Have you thought about re-taking the LSAT or a prep course? There's always hope. Try talking to the schools you are interested in and tell admissions about your situation.
