Why do I feel "dirty"?

Okay, last night, (I am 13), this boy @ my school threw a Halloween party @ his house. It was supervised, and had a DJ, as was safe. Me and my BFF dressed up in school girl costumes just like the ones the girls from t.a.t.u. were wearing in their All The Things She Said/Ya Soshla S Uma music video. We were trying to be those girls. me and my BFF R NOT lesbians. we just luv the band. it was raining outside and got soaked cuz the party was outside, and we wanted to copy the video cuz it was raining there. we did not kiss or anything. we didn't do anything innapropriate. so why do i feel so slutty?

let it go !!! ur 13, supposed to have fun... you like the music, you did the dance!!!! go on with life.... we all do and have done silly things... YOUR supposed to do silly, goofy, unconventional stuff.... you did nothing wrong, so move on !!!!!!! God bless

I live in Australia personally I dont celebrate halloween but it becoming more popular here as we follow the trends of the USA.The party sounds well set up and supervived.In real life people tend to judge us by the clothes we wear it is wrong but happens .You may feel now that it was not a good choice for halloween which i would agree now you and your friends have some doubts and you yourself feel guilty but hey you just made a simple mistake we all make them .You know who you are and your sexual preference .So forget about it go out and enjoy life in time all the people there will forget and see that your a real treasure .Have a nice day.

Not sure! Just remember that feeling "Dirty" is a state of mind. That means that these feelings of "Slutty" or "Dirty" come form within yourself, so that is where you need to look for your answer.
You may be misidentifying yourself. Instead of "slutty" maybe it would be healthier for you to think "sexy".
You also need to remember, that at 13 you are still mostly a child. You are becoming an adult, & being sexy, is more for adults, & definately not for children, so you are suffering an INNER CONFLICT. As you get older, these inner conflicts will resolve themselves. In the meantime, you will have an easier time if you are not so hard on yourself. You are in a state of transition between being a child, & growing into an adult. So try not give yourself negative labels. We tend to become what we tell ourselves that we are, so instead of calling yourself negative things, try using positive labels to define yourself.
You deserve to be treated with kindness, especially from you.

When you are mimicking something, it can be percieved as you wanting to embrace it. You are sending a message by your actions. If you feel uncomfortable about what happened, then don't do it again. You thought it would be fun, but you know... you may have been sending signals to the other people at that party that dont know you as well that you were someone or something you are not.
I dont know what you can do to remedy the situation, as it has just happened, but I hope this helps answer why you are feeling a little bit uncomfortable with your choices.
Ask your friend if she feels similarly.

Because your dress was intended to be like a s|ut- instead of a Halloween costume. If you didn’t go to a Halloween party and went to a S|ut Costume party, you wouldn’t feel that way.

Don't worry about it. You've learned something about "appropriateness." There is a time and place for everything. Yours simply didn't work and you've learned.

I think it was a good idea and u shouldnt feel "dirty"!! Maybe think about ur choice a lil longer next time so u wont feel so uncomfortable!!!

I don't know why but you shouldn't. Im 13 too and ive done much worse and that is nothing to feel Dirty about!

You are just at that age, don't worry, you are ok. At least you know you have a conscience, listen to it before you ever do anything bad, or go too far before you marry.
