I totally agree with Angela M. Dawn of the Dead by George A. Romero is my favorite Horror movie only because I love Gory horror flicks. I love Zombie movies. My favorite scenes from the movie would probably be 1) When the military men were raiding a apartment complex and a lady ran out to hug her relative, which he was actually a zombie, and he bit her on the shoulder and you saw her flesh and veins being ripped off her shoulders. that was pretty awesome. and 2) I like the part whren steven gets attacked in the elevator at the shopping mall. One thing I hate about horror movies is the fact that they cut on the gory parts. how are we suppose to enjoy a good thrill if they keep us wondering what really happened?

There's no such thing as a scary zombie movie. Gory, yes. Graphic, yes. Believably frightening, are you kidding? I have never seen a supernatural horror film more frightening than Nightmare on Elm Street. But Zombies that eat human flesh and can't be killed are just too far out in left field to be scary...

I'm not a big fan of horror movies, especially zombie movies, but when i saw Dawn of the Dead, it scared the crap out of me. What made it even more scary was that the zombies ran like cheetahs. Zombie movies freak me out, there are so many, if your bit, you turn into one in less than an hour. They make me depressed

It's alright. Not to scary or gory. More like a study of what people would do in a situation like that instead of a hack'n'slash film.
