I would give the respect intended for a President, and I'm a Republican. . . . . Soooooo . . . .. Why do liberal Democrats think it's ok, or cool, or trendy, etc. etc. to disrespect the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES...??? .. . . I may not like the candidate, and i may disagree on all or almost all the issues, but I'm NOT going to blast it to our COMMON ENEMIES..Why do lib, dems do it anyway????? Does that at all, indicate character or lack thereof??

WELL WELL WELL Oh Lucia La La---Why am I not surprised. And yet flabberghasted. You think it ' BINDS ' us together? No maam, not pure hatred. PURE HATRED HAS NEVER BOUND ANYTHING TOGETHER, EXCEPT EVIL. Thank you and 'here's your sign'.

Shelly - -Very much old enough to remember. I remember better than you, apparently. Clinton was impeached for LYING UNDER OATH.. . . It goes back to that 'CHARACTER THING' I was referring to.

three6ty - -Don't forget, I'll have that 'same' 1st amendment right, if a Democrat wins in 2008, but the difference is, I know when and how to speak my mind and HATRED accomplishes NOTHING. I can't believe you guys can be so short-sighted. Who am I kidding...BLIND is the word most appropriate.

Lynn 1955 - - Exactly my point. ya know, this is about the third question in a row, that none of the libs/dems could get themselves to stop for a second and SEE the DAMAGE they're doing !! The question was open and HONEST enough that I even stated that I, A Devout Conservative Republican, would not publicly disgrace OUR President.....( puzzled look on my face.. .no kidding..) Why can't they stop? At the risk of spreading more hatred and emboldening the TERRORISTS, what the f--k is up with that ?? We can't even ask people to stop HATING ?? And could you ever imagine having to even ask this question?

I think it's a tribute to our democracy, that we are free to say whatever we want about our president. In a strange way, I think it binds us together and should make us feel grateful that we don't live in a country like our enemies' where we would be jailed or worse for the things we say about our leader.

Fortunately, we have the right to not like whomever we wish...

I am also a republican, I voted for Clinton the first time because he spoke well.. I wasn't aware of the forked tongue until later on.

I never Hated Clinton. I just lost respect for him.

For those who need an education of Impeachment and Lying to the Grand Jury. Maybe you need to understand that NO man is above the law. Lying to a grand jury is Perjury. It is considered a Class A Misdemeanor. Jail-able offense.
Impeachment is for Felonies and HIGH misdemeanors.

Clinton restricted the RIGHT of another citizen of a fair and equal trail because he LIED!

ALSO, there was A LOT more to the trial then just the sex.... (By the way, that makes a president vulnerable to Blackmail, need I say more?)

i voted for Reagon & Bush 1...I have often voted for Republican senators and representatives. I am a conservative Democrat. But this president has gone too far...I may never vote Republican again in my life. Sure he's the president, but he has no respect for half of Americans or the Constitution...he is an extreme partisan. No way I can respect that. His idology is foreign to me. This is America, we are allowed to dissent...I would not dissent if I saw that his good outweighed his bad.
I love what America stands for, not Bush...I consider myself a patriot.

IN ANSWER TO COMMENT:

My dissention is basically as a private person. the only acts that I commit are words I say here and to my friends. I do agree that some go too far, but that is their decision. the Admin. seems to have forgotten that they must have the opposition party in line with any war---it makes the dissention permissible by the oppostion party members. I think we were rushed into it by the Republican party and few Democrats are privy to all the facts and secrets known by the Admin.

I wish I could respect him, but I can't. He has not been respectful to this or other nations. If someone asked me who is president of the USA, I would say bush, but that is far as it goes. I do not respect what he is doing.

That being said, if Clinton or any other Democrat were doing the same thing bush is doing, I would state the same thing. It is not a Democrat or Republican thing, it is a "respect for this country" thing. He is using the Constitution for personal purposes, he is separating this country with "if you don't support the war, then you are Un-American", and is separating this country by giving more breaks for businesses and richer people than Middle Class and poor. It doesn't make sense to me he would talk about wanting our children to be intellectually as competent with the rest of the world, yet he doesn't concern himself with the inner city and public school children.

I can't respect a man, whether on the street or in the White House, who doesn't respect me. It has to be earned...

I will state that I respect your question. I think it is a good point, but I have to disagree with it...

EDIT: bush started it, but he has left children behind....

Billary is probably the most likely to win the party's nomination, because of Bill's influence (many people still love the man) and because she has ties with big business (including the healthcare industry). She'll probably get elected from there, unless she's running against Ron Paul - all of the other Republicans will lose, mainly because they're pro-war. I believe Billary is anti-war, but I believe she has flip-flopped on the subject several times.

Thank-you, only it isn't just the liberal demos but demos in general like my family who I always thought of as sane unless politics are brought up!! It's the most insane situation I've ever witnessed! They are so against Republicans/Bush that they are embracing the enemy and putting down our country and goverment almost siding in with them! They leak out security info, and are doing everything they can to tear down our goverment in war time!! I'm not sure if they are possessed or have big money behind them like George Soro's and his cronies. I agree, when we had demo's in for presidents I didn't do this bashing thing.

see... Republicans INVESTIGATED CLINTON for a year over a private matter... BLASTING HIM THE ENTIRE TIME... much before he even lied under oath...

and I even remember people like tom delay saying "you can support the troops, but not the president" in the entire Bosnia issue...

and we were attacked by Osama several times... but the one time Clinton attacked their base, Republican's yelled "WAG THE DOG"... because apparently they though Osama wasn't a threat...

he didn't go after Osama much after that... I mean... could he have really? would Republicans let him? they yelled as loud as they could the first time he tried...

but I guess you think that was good for America... don't you?

Maybe you don't remember (too young, weren't political aware, etc.) but conservatives and Republicans disrespected Clinton when he was president. They tried to impeach him for lying to the grand jury over an illicit affair. If they can do that to a president, George Bush should also be impeached for taking us into a fruitless, needless and unnecessary war.

I would bet that Richard Nixon, Harry Truman, FDR and Woodrow Wilson were criticized by Americans during their respective wars. It's a false premise to say that you can't criticize a president in a time of war.

It's simple. Most Dems are Dems 1st, Americans 2nd (if that). They hate Bush so much that they would rather have him fail than have the country succeed.

I think that most Democrats, not all, just hate America and bash bush for all the problems they cause themselves. I think they should just move to another country if they hate bush as much as they say they do. i think bush is doing the best job he can, and im sick of all the libs trying to mess up America.
