I have been engaged for a year. I gave my fiance a ring set and she liked it. I really wanted to spend a little more on the ring, but had to stick within a budget at that time. Lately I have been thinking of possibly buying her another ring for our wedding in two years. Do you think that would be a good idea, or should I just stick with the one that I gave her the night I proposed?

You're very thoughtful. But keep in mind, she likes it. So stick with it & buy her a much nicer ring on your 10th anniversary. Congratulations!

I would say save your money. Since she likes the ring you gave her first so much, the one you gave her the night you proposed means a lot more to her than a different one.
But mabey later on in your marriage if you have a baby or an anniversary or something then give her the other ring you were wanting to give her. She woud like that too!!
Congrats on your engagement!!

You should ask her! She may love the one she has. You can also think about getting a bigger diamond put in the one you already gave her instead of buying a new ring. I know I would like that a lot better then having a new one.

1. Go with the first ring.
2. Since you have already given her the ring and she accepted-ditch the two year wedding plan. Cut it ot 6 months or less or you will be sorry.

Ask her!
She will probably stick with the original due to sentiment but may want to build it up with the actual wedding band. You could buy her a nice set of diamond, pearl or ruby studs for the wedding. They would be a beautiful wedding gift to your bride!

giving her another ring would be nice especially on a special occasion but do not replace her first ring . it means more to her even if the next one is nicer.

Yes, but maybe make it a fancy family ring. Give it to her on a special occasion, it will mean more that way.

This is really sweet by the way.

Go ahead and get her another one. She can keep the old one, right? I think it's a really sweet idea.

Keep saving money for now. In the future (a year or more from now) when she is least expecting it, repropose to her and renew your vows.
