Obama would be a good candidate, but I doubt the democrat's would allow a black man to run the country...
They have done everything they could to keep the black people down. Letting a black man win presidency would not help them at all.
I know it sounds kind of racist, but it is a fact. Republicans want EVERYONE to succeed. Living off of the Government will do nothing but allow them to fail. Getting them to move and get off of the Government Welfare will do nothing but make them richer and more productive members.
(Yes, I know there are Whites and Hispanic's on the welfare dole, but we are speaking about Obama.)

I think that he has the potential to make a great president, just not yet. He needs more experience and he realizes that. The Republicans would only want him to run because they know that he is still unexperienced and will lose which will make the Republicans only look stronger. Anything that will help their chances, they want

He'd be a great president but he needs more experience. He needs to overcome the racist Americans who think he will only propose solutions for African Americans and that will come with political experience. I say give him 10 years and then run.

1. Some voters want a black president. Will he win? Maybe. If he does, will it be because he's the right candidate or because he's black? Inconsidering the current mindset of the Republicans, probably because he's black. Not a a black Pres wouldn't be right. one might be.
2. The Republicans think he'd be one of their puppets.
3. He is a Republican. If he was a democrat and I knew more about him, I might vote for him. But that's not the case.

They know that he's not ripe for the job and that being black, he may not be as likely to win. Hope the dems have someone more qualified, but anythings better than what we've got.

Last I heard this morning, Obama was still thinking about it. I think he needs more experience to do a good job.
