That movie is definitely Top 10. Gene Hackman is awesome...probably his best role ever. The movie was so intense...no remake will ever do it justice.

Sure! This is a public site. Some of us aren't "YOUNG" no offense.

At it's release it was as HOTTTTT as anything offered now,,,in my opinion.

To view it now,,,without viewing the "RIP OFF" I find it lame on some levels, and even comical in close notice of one scene where the young lady is being viewed as she ascends a "ladder" while the male, climbing behind her, has a "View" that has no relation to the story line.

I enjoy what I enjoy, and remakes have enjoyed success without question. I could list many, although I feel defiled by sequals.

On a philosophical level,,, There hasn't been an "Original" thought, since the idea of "Hmmmm,,borrow a RIB? Create an APPLE TREE? OR,,,interject "Chicken or Egg" into the SOUP that is LIFE

I thought that movie was good. I remember feeling bad for the people who went the wrong way after Gene Hackman was trying to tell them, when they crossed over from each other when I think they were halfway through the ship going to the top.

Much better than the remake. I loved the original with Gene Hackman.

Are you kidding it was a piece of Hollywood Poof. A facade of over acting and the cheesy special effects makes this a real sinker.

Yeah, I especially liked seeing the guy from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in it.

It was great! I wish directors would realize that remaking classics is a bad idea! Leave the classics alone!

I loved that movie. It was on T.V. a couple months ago. I can't wait to see the remake.I hope it's not too horrible.
