My bf of 5 months dumped me a couple of weeks ago for his ex gf. They dated for 1 1/2 years, but had been broken up for almost a year. He said he loved me like no other, and was hurt to leave me, but she was safe and said she had changed. He believed her and went to her. Do you think it will work with them? And what about our love like no other?

She has obviously sucked him into believing she has changed for the better. He was gullable enough to believe her.
If he loved you like no other he would be with you right now.
They won't last, when a couple break up then it's not meant to be which means they should stop wasting their time trying to make it work.
Don't ever take him back, love is when someone will be with you thick & thin, move on with your life and show him that your too sexy for him.

Seems to me that it is going to become an of and on relationship. I don't know the reason they broke up in the first place. If she dumped him for another guy?. She will do it again and he will take her back again, She has him on the back burner. Until he decides he doesn't want pain anymore. If he left you for her it is better he did it now and not 9 years later like it happen to me. Move on find someone with a back bone. Sorry people like him that don't know what they have or want, need to have their feelings spun around. It is healthy for them to have their hearts ripped up.

1 and 1/2 years is a long time, so obviously they had something going on. but those words he said to u were bs. guys bs all the time and words are just words. forget about him. he is a dime a dozen. and there r better guys out there. thats messed up for him to just leave you like that for some other girl, and then come up with a cheesy excuse. if a guy did that to me, i would have forgotten about him by now.

In this instance, I suspect that your ex's "love" is really a synonym for his dick and he had to follow it wherever it led. He truly may love you--at least on some level--and he clealry still loved her. And you absolutely know, deep in his heart, that he said exactly the same thing to the ex he left you for, right?
You are heartbroken and have a right to be. You may feel used, led on, and taken advantage of, but, again, you have every right to be, as I believe that you absolutely were.
Trust me, your life load is much, much lighter now that he is out of your life. You know he can't be trusted and didn't deserve you or the love you had to offer him It may not feel like you're better off, but you are.
Prepare your heart now to be clear, clean, and open to someone else--someone who is looking for you and what you have to offer and to share; someone who really wants YOU; and someone who deserves you. The fool did you a favor.

He's a liar and a Jerk, and if he leaves her trying to come back you please do not let him back in your life. Love is beyond words it also involves actions, and Love is not suppose to have you feeling like this right now
Move on, their is probably someone else out their 4 you, just clear this loser off your plate first

He has wanted her the entire time! Finally she took him back and your out. I know it hurt's but if you pursue him, you will chase him into her arms. Go out and have fun! He will wonder why your not calling him and chase you. He's immature. This is how you handle these immature creeps.
