How to get them to be more supportive? Keep dropping hints or just straight up tell them? No one's perfect and while we're all much more willing to accept the imperfections of our friends more so than we are acquaintances and strangers, it may be time you consider going out by yourself instead of sitting around at your friend's house trying to convince her to go out with you. Maybe while you're 'out' you can meet a few new people. I'm not saying that you should stop talking to your old friends, but it's nice to have someone to 'go' do something with. Not 'just' someone to not do something with.

You should try and meet more friends or new ones. But if you want to stay with them and be best friends 4 ever then try to encourage them and say how much your athletic meetings are important to you. Maybe they will understand.

it was once said the he who looks for the perfect friends are most likely to be alone. most real friends love you for who you are not what you do. if you don't have intrest in what they are into or do should they try to convert you to their way of thinking, or make you do join in their activities? would you? why not be greatful for their friendship and do the things that you all have in common which doesn't have to be anything at all.
if you want their support, talk to them and stress how very imortant their intrest and support is to you. they probably will support you but if they don't have intrest in what it is you do, they probably will not be excited about it so you may get one out of two.
good luck

The trouble with growing up is that people change. Do not let lazy friends drag you down or put your bright future in jeopardy. Try to motivate them but if its a lost cause, find new friends. Sorry

When people behave like your friends have been behaving towards you it means they no longer want or need your friendship but they don't know how to tell you. It's time for you to find friends who are more compatible with you and get away from these others.

Try to find something that u both like to do. It might take a while but once you figure it out, it'll be great knowing that you guys can do something that doesn't involve sitting around and being lazy.

Maybe they think u r bragging. Stop telling them about it or trying to play sports with them. Don't suggest anything an d ask what they want to do.
