Right before the elections (even during Ramadan), the terrorists purposely escalate the killing in Iraq to try to influence Americans to vote for democrats who promise to pull out of Iraq.

Iraq, that poor agonized country, has fallen into a power play among the various religious factions. I'm not saying that we should pull out tomorrow, though it might not be a bad idea to retreat to the borders, tell the Iraqi government that we've done all that we can, and save God knows how many American lives. Uh oh. There's that dreaded word: "Retreat. Cut and run." There are other platitudes,though, like "No Blood For Oil."
The truth is, the buck stops with George, and though he was quick to get us into this disaster, he has no answers either on how to get us out. "Stay the course" is not a plan, it's a platitude. So whether the Democrats take over, or the Republicans stay in power, the dogs of war have been loosed and nobody really knows how to get them back into the kennel. Thing is, if this country re-elects the Republicans, they'll think we like what they're doing, and that way lies madness.

Grasping for the brass ring? Terrorists will kill any American. It will not matter to them about which political group they belong in.
The chanting in the streets was, "Death to America"! They do not care as long as they can kill Americans. I have never heard of a captured prisoner being ask if they were Democrat, or Republican. I am sure there were Democrats and Republicans on the planes during 9/11. All were given the same fate. If the news says this increase is to influence the election, they are not considering the truth. The increase is to drive our troops out of Iraq. When Bin laden gives a political choice on one of his tapes, them we will know. Remember, politicking is a dirty business. Things are said and shown by both parties when either party is looking for an edge to win. Heaven help us!!!

It is probably true that the terrorists would like the democrats to have the majority in the US because they would more than likely pull out of the Middle East. This would also give the terrorists room to expand their power over the citizens of countries such as Iraq and from there increase their power over the world as a whole.

Sure, the Dems, believe that anything is worth winning the elections, even the deaths of our soldiers and innocent civilians.
The rich Dems are like the leaders in the Soviet Union, the talk alot about caring for the poor, but in reality they become more powerful from sucking the blood out of them.
Clinton loved terrorists, he would have rather given them whatever they wanted than stood up for this Country, the county that he really detests. He was a coward during Vietnam and he remained a coward afterward. Dems in general loathe American ideals.

That same argument can ALSO be used for the republicans. The terrorists support the republicans, because they escalate the violence right before elections in order to make Americans fear for their safety and vote republican. I don't think that the terrorists care much, one way or the other, who is in power here in the US. Their only goal is to promote hatred.

The Dems are like terrorists in that aspect. They are pulling out all the stops to get elected on Nov. 7th. I highly doubt the "Mark Foley scandal" is going to make a bit of difference.
