Probably the using of the names of God and Jesus as swear words. It's interesting. You never hear anyone say "Oh, for Mohammad's sake!", or "Buddha dammit!"

i suppose it all depends on your personal point of view, for instance if you were an asian you might very well find it offensive to be called a "paki bast*rd" , if you were a jewish then "yid" may seem nasty, in english many of the words classed as swearing used to be every day common language in the working classes, and it's only more modern social thinking that takes them out of the contest they were originally meant for, i personally find the word C**t offensive, not because of the word but because it is used in a derogatory manner to that which it actually is, in fact you will find most swear words are being re-introduced into dictionaries now as they become more and more commonplace in everyday usage, so to sum up, in my personal opinion, a word is only as offensive as an individual to whom it is directed lets it be.

I curse a lot but the 3 that I refuse to use, are:
1. C*unt
2. N*gger
3. F*g
Those words disgust me.
