He met a girl in the most bizarre way ever, I was there to witness it, however, the bizarreness of the meeting got him into this whole She-Loves-me Complex that is just going a little bit too far -guy hasn't even f*ucked her yet and already thinks about her as all important and what not.

How much long term damage are we looking at here...?

Whether its true love or not, depending on his age, he may not change. The younger someone is, the easier they do change. Older people, are more set in their ways.

Why don't you be supportive of this relationship and if its meant to be, great, if it falls apart, your there for support.
