I am a die hard rock-n-roller from the early 70's....I love all kinds of music...but I could never get into rap,hip hop,etc. Until I heard Snoop...D-O double G...and Dr. Dre.I got realy turned on to gangster rap. Then when I opened my mind and heart,I was able to feel the anger and the pain that came from the greats like Tupak,and Machiavelli.(are they the same?)I realized that rap was not a passing thing...I saw myself...again... in my minds eye. When I was a child living in Flatbush,Brooklyn. In the ghetto...

Definately Pharrel. He has worked with Gwen Stefani, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, etc. and gave them all hits! He also has his own album which has some killer beats. He may not be the best singer/rapper, but his beat-making is superb. Check him out.
