It is not necessary to submit to any search engines because they have bots which crawl the web looking for new sites (pages). It is better that they find you this way.

Also using automated software to submit to search engines or directories is a silly mistake that a number of people make.

have you created meta tags for your homepage, if so then all you have to do is go to a search engine and look around for a link called "submit url" and enter in your website url and hit enter and then let the spiderbots do the rest.
