Dayton Ohio is circling the Drain. Alot of Urban flight, vacant homes, homeless population is up,Violent crime is up, businesses leaving the downtown area for the burbs or other states.

It really irritates me when people say Detroit for these types of questions. I live there and it is not run down. Sure it has its bad sections just like any other large city but if you don't live there don't judge by the bad rap the media gives.

cleveland was pretty bad when i was there in the mid 90s. we would drive through the downtown and you'd be lucky to see any pedestrians. it literally felt like a ghost town.
