You can try Rit. It will work best on Cotton. If it another material, I don't know about doing it yourself.

I would reccomend Dylon Machine Dye which comes with a dye fix.This suitable for natural fibres and there is a handwash option for more delicate material such as silk.However,with the handwash you need to ensure adequate stirring so that there is even dye coverage.

take it to a place that dyes shoes to match gowns, like a bridal salon. At least ask them...maybe a dry cleaner? Not sure, let your fingers do the walking thru the yellow pages.

If it's a nice dress it's best to take it to a cleaners ant pay the extra cost so that you don't ruin your dress

go to a loonie store they usually have packs of dye at them and follow the directions.
