I remember this part of the movie where the parents dont get along so the kids lock the parents in the basement to that they have to talk and get along also I belive that other kids in the neighbourhood put there parents in the same basement so they have to get along and the kids have a party sometime in the movie. I Was thinking that Drew Barrymore I could be wrong though.
