No, masturbating doesn't affect your period, make you blind, send you to hell or any other old wives tales you've been told. For the men - actually, some women CAN feel ovulation. For you - don't mix menstruation (bleeding) with ovulation (which happens around 10 days earlier). And someone mentioned it already, but a day or two before menstruation it is common for women to feel the need to scratch the itch. If you get my drift. Hence the link between your itching and period.

No it does not. It is a normal maturational process and as long as it has innocent consequences, it is ok. When you begin to have a problem is when you start to masturbate in public where you have the chance of being caught in the act. Otherwise, it is a normal process.
