I just got back from Europe on Business and this combination was used quite a bit. Americans are into shirt vs. pant contrast (white shirts vs. dark pants), but since when we we the experts? Black pants go with just about everything. If you want to ward off those silly fashion wannabes then I suggest a colorful tie to add contrast.

dont do it, what u wear says alot about u, those 2 colors together would be really dull, try something brighter, or something not so close to black, i think royal blue looks real good w/ black pants
