Any suggestions on halloween costumes that can win a contest?
Its for 2-3 girls and it has to be appropriate.
Also it should be fun / easy / and original
Last years winners were:
Reno 911 cast (5 guys)
A shepard with his cammel (3 girls)
The wizard of Oz (5 girls)
and Marilyn Monroe (1 girl)

Two people could go as a pair of dice.
This is pretty retro, but one could go as Pac Man and the other two could be ghosts.
You could go as a chain gang - I got that one from About.com. Not a bad idea.
You could be the Andrews Sisters or the Supremes.

My daughter was a Q-tip one year. It was very easy. She wore blue leotards and white shoes and socks. I covered her feet with cotton stuffing. I made a hat that looked like a Qtipi and put vaseline on it to look used! Then her friend was the box of Qtips.I saw a lady dressed as a skunk one night and it was hilarius. She wore black tights and top and tight hood and had a big fuzzy tail made from yarn. A white stripe was down her back with just a strip of white material.The white part of the tail was made with yarn also.It was so funny because she was overweight and had a belly. Everytime she walked the tail bounced along!You could do Pepe' La Pu, the female cat he loves and the other female skunk that falls for him when the white paint goes down his back!I have never seen those done and they would be easy. The only props would be a paint can and flowers.My ex and I went as GI Joe and Hotlips from Mash one year. I hope these helped. Have fun!

How about a skeleton, mummy, and ghost?
Skeleton: black leggings, black (long-sleeved) T-shirt. Paint a skeleton on front and back with white paint. (Better if leggings and T-Shirt are on the person when the bones are painted.) Also, it would be cool if the paint was glow-in-the-dark!
Mummy: White leggings, white T-shirt. Get some rolls of white crepe streamers and wrap all around the body -- legs, trunk, arms, head. (Would have said use toilet tissue, but that won't last very long before it starts falling apart. Streamers should work.)
Ghost: Old white sheet. Throw over person evenly, mark place for eyes. Take off and cut out eyes. Use rope at waist if needed. (Wear white slacks and T-shirt underneath!)
Go as the Three Ghouls...???

How about Alice in Wonderland? You could have an Alice, a Queen of Hearts, and either a white rabbit or a Mad Hatter. I've come across some really cute Alice in Wonderland costumes while searching online for a costume for myself. The one's I saw may be a little too risque' but it would be very easy to tone them down to be a bit more appropriate. Good luck with whatever you decide! : )

I agree The Pink Ladies from grease, or Ketchup and mustard, fruit of a loom-dress like an apple a grape and a strawberry, or go as 3 of a kind-3 of the same cards like 3 Jacks Or 2 of a kind-2 aces, it depends on how many of you are going.

Someone was saying do the designers of project runway. You could do Uli, Laura and one of the people could be one of the guys. Uli would be a blonde wig with a long flowey dress. Laura would be a short red wig with a short simple black dress. Jeffrey would be a girl dressed in black rocker style with sunglasses. It could be pretty in expenseive and fun. Just go to the trrift store. It would be hillaroious. Just go to http://ww.bravotv.com and look at their signature styles. Jeffrey always wears an efiel tower necklace charm. Uli always wears one with an envelop around her neck. Just make those out of paper. Laura wears a dog bone looking rinestone detail at her waist. You could make all of those out of aluminum foil and just get the idea.

Well, you're name is Sandra Dee (according to what it says under your Yahoo Avatar). Why not be Sandra Dee (Sandy) From grease? That's be kinda cool!! if you have a boyfriend or a boy that's your friend he could go as danny...sounds lame but it might be kinda cute and cool!
