beach in January your jocking! but all the others plenty try mainland Athens or Salonika or the mountain villages of Arahova 15 kms from Athens or 3-5 pigadia almost a hundred kms from Salonika.both cities don't sleep at all

I will not agree with the opinion above. Santorini and Mykonos island are great destinations but only for summer time. January are like ghost towns. I would say the place you want to go is Athens, there you will find all the things you want and a bit more.
Try to go places were locals go, like Kolonaki square daytime and Bournazi square for clubbing. Have fun in your trip

Things cool down in January, but I would still visit places like Kos, Kalymnos, Rhodes, Crete, and of course Athens.

Athens is all right for all above.
I would not suggest the islands, because they are deserted at this time of the year.

Mykonos is the party place---------particularly if you are gay. They party all night long there----------gay or straight.
