Well, I'm not living in my home state right now, and I don't know when I will be again, but I can't stand the governor that was elected. There is a lot of controversy behind it, which is odd.
I'm from Washington state, which is well known as being a "blue" state.
The last governor race was Rossi vs. Gregoire. I couldn't STAND Gregoire. I voted for Rossi. So did a lot of other people. Gary Locke (former governor) was a Democrat, and a HORRIBLE governor. I have so many examples of how awful he was that it's not even funny.
Anyway, so Rossi (Republican) had won, and we were all, YAY!
Gregoire is evil. Seriously. Her campaign was so dirty and full of lies it's not even funny.
But THEN the Democrats contested the vote. Somehow, on the third recount, they pulled out enough votes for Gregoire to win.
Now, here's the crux:
Most of the votes they pulled out were from people who DIED before absentee ballots were even mailed out. Strange, eh?
Huge controversy. They're thinking of holding a re-vote.
I hope they do. I'll gladly vote for Rossi all over again.

I am strongly opposed to my current governor for reasons of spending my tax dollars without asking me for my opinion and for refusing to share his information even whenasked by my Attorney General. He has spent money on a plan which will direcltly effect me and my land and my way of life on a project he kept hidden and will not discuss apperntly until after the elections and maybe not then.He has also cut precious children from heqalth benefits by choosing an out of country provider. He has many issues unresolved after too many years of promises. I'm voting for the only honest man I've found for my state ,
Kinky for Texas Guv. He has a Texas heart and not a Texas wallet.

No. He stripped the police and the retired police and fire fighters of the medical benefits. He makes it sound like he did a wonderful thing to balance the budget for the last four years but, truth is, it would have been illegal for him not to. He promised to lower property taxes when he got elected the last time and that hasn't happened, yet he pretended it has! He encouraged and supported the legislators to pass a raise for themselves in the middle of the night, which couldn't have become law unless he signed it, and now he's saying he was bullied by the two top men in the legislator. Please! It's Lynn Swann all the way!

The Governor of Wisconsin, Jim Doyle, is a corrupt man who SOLD favors for campaign contributions. There are ongoing investigations and some people on his staff have been convicted.

Our Democrat Attorney General was caught drunk driving when she crashed our STATE CAR that she had illegally on her way home from Madison.

The Democrats in my state are corrupt. We need Mark Green to win in November.

No, Sonny Purdue is not what I'd call an honest man. He has laws changed or made so he (personally) can save money on taxes. He is homophobic, and has never really done anything to better my lifestyle at all.
