Because in another life you were a water bug. There is a part of you that is afraid because it didn't like being a water bug and doesn't want to relive or remember that life, or the large bass that one fateful day.... But you dream about it because you did have peacefulness as a water bug and your subconciousness wishes you had more peace in your current life.

Hmmm... perhaps you like swimming but you just have this fear of drowning or something bad that you have to overcome. Once you can overcome the fear, you would enjoy it? It's like I love figure skating but at the same time I'm afraid to fall on the cold, hard ice.

...because you really want to be able to swim and have fun doing so. You can do it. See if your local YMCA or park and rec have some swimming lessons you can take.

You can coward to your fears or you can chase your dreams. (Chasing dreams is a lot more fun!!) Best of luck!!

I can swim. I'm not afraid of water, even drink considerable amounts of the stuff.

But swimming, to me, is a method of staying alive while immersed.

If you are religeous, pray for me, please.
