it's called gravity

Sorry, but...those people are wrong.

It's inertia. The earth was formed by a cloud of dust that condensed and compressed due to gravity. The dust was spinning as it combined. The momentum is circular because of gravity but it keeps on going because of inertia. The earth as a whole is spinning because no other force is causing it to slow down or stop.
It's a big relative motion problem. If you want something more in-depth, message me.

there are few factors that help in the spinning of the earth which are as follows.
1-the radioactive material present in the earth is one of the sources forthe spinning of the earth.

2-the convectional cells with in the earth i.e: in the magma, helps the earth to rotate.

3-the cosmic rays and the gravitational pull and its reaction caused by the sun on the earth is also amog the factors in the spinning of the earth..
if there are any other factors that u know other than these than plz let me know that

Gravity makes the earth spin?! haha, that's news to me...

I think it's actually because there is no friction in space. And earth is in space. So just keeps on going.

It keeps spinning because of inertia. Gravity keeps it revolving around the Sun.
