I did this by first maximizing the digit in the tens column.

6) 853 x 764 = 651692 (Using the same method)

8) x^3 = x^2 + 48

x = 4

9) Completing the square method:

m^2 = -6m-7

m^2 + 6m = -7

m^2 + 6m + 9 = -7 +9

(m + 3)^2 = -2

m+ 3 = sqrt -2

m = -3 +/- i sqrt 2

This answer is "negative three plus or minus "i" times the square root of 2"

I don't remember how to complete the square.

4*2=16
4*3=64
64-16=48

I think #8 is m=6i*2-7i*2
not %100 though
