You *can* teach an old dog new tricks!
While it is easier for children to pick up a new skill or language, that certainly doesn't mean an adult can't be very successful.
I started playing the piano when I was 5, but didn't start the guitar until I was in my early 20's. I don't remember learning to play the piano, but learning the guitar was so much fun that I didn't even think about how challenging it was.
So go ahead the sign up for those lessons! :)

I started the flute at 9. You can learn an instrument at any age you just need more effort when you're older.

yes, you can learn an instrument at any age, but you might just have to put in a little more effort. it depends on the individual, but anyone can do it, as long as you have the desire to learn.

I started playing at 14. But any age is a good age to start. Many great musicias started in their late 20's. So go for it, it's never too late. :D

I picked up the guitar at age 26 and taight myself to play. I have now been playing 14 years and I enjoy it very much.
