I think that the person has had some very hard times and been confused about their life and show it by having tattoos all over. Look at the prisons to see what I mean.My daughter has 3 tattoos and I hate it.Her boyfriend in prison has a full size one of my daughter's face and hair past her shoulders on his side. She is stupid to have him for a boyfriend since he got caught up in the drug business. She knows better but thinks he has changed.Ha!He will tell her anything to keep her sending him cash. I doubt he will change when he gets out in 8 yrs.He was there once before and repeated his mistakes and went back.He is a good model of tattoos and attitude because he has them all over and would have to wear a diving suit to cover them all. The Bible says to not put marks on your body and I believe that. I would not hire anyone with tatoos to work in the public. If it was behind walls where no one could see them, I might hire them if they showed capabilities. They would still have to completely cover the tattoos while at work.People should dress appropriately for jobs and tattos do not come under most dress codes.

I believe that there are very few jobs that they shouldn't be hired for. I wouldn't want to see them working with people with dementia because it could be confusing to the client. They probably wouldn't be the top choice of a representative in a business situation either, especially if there is any possibility that someone will misinterpret them as being Yakuza members.

I'm a teacher with 2 tatoos, I don't consider myself bad!!
I had them done as private pieces of jewelry, therefore they're hidden from the public eye. Anyway, people should stop with the "tatoo" prejudice.

An employee represents his or her employer. If the tatoos represent anything contrary to the employer's mission statement then no they should not be hired for that specific job.

The employer should have the right to decide who is going to be hired.
The human body is beautiful just the way it is. Why do some people think they can make it better? They can't. Tattoos and piercings just detract from a person's natural beauty.

When I see a person with lots of tattoos, I feel more comfortable around them. The way I see it, they don't judge people solely on appearance, but on what they are & can do.
Isn't it better to seek what things ARE than to see what they LOOK LIKE? Appearances can be decieving, & anyone who categorizes on looks alone is severely limited in their thinking abilities!

I think they are ugly and wouldn't like to do business with someone covered in tatoos.

They have either served time or they are looking for attention. It is a stupid way to get it. Better if they practice doing Magic tricks.
Reminds me of the saying we used to use about attention getters.
Rigidly conforming Non Conformists,
Rigidly Conforming.

An employer has a right not to hire them, if they are in a place where they can be seen, like the neck.
