Make sure you understand the meaning behind the name--by that I mean, know who the saint you took it from is, or who that person is. I chose the name Anatolia because I liked the name and really connected with her story and the values she represents.

By the way, congratulations on getting Confirmed! If you're being properly prepared, it can be amazing.

When I made my Confirmation(so long ago, I'm 33 now) I took my Grandmother's first name...Anastacia. She was very honored. Maybe choose a name of a family member living or passed or possibly a biblical name/Saint's name?
