Welsh People

I used to live on the border of Wales, near to Queensferry, near to Chester.
Wales is really a beautiful country and the fishing is really good. The Welsh are just as nice as anyone anywhere, but like in every country, there are good and bad people everywhere. I think the negative opinions that alot of English people have about the Welsh comes mainly from the fact that the Welsh have THEIR own language and that they are pretty nationalistic, which, when you think about, aren't we Brits?
The burning down of holiday homes (mainly English proprietors) shows their nationalism, but do not forget this is only a minority.

Personally, I think the best thing about Wales is the country itself, the green pastures, the rolling hills, the waterways, Snowdon and the whole heritage. There are so many beautifully restored and protected Castles!

When I return to England for a holiday, I always look forward to spend time on the banks of my favourite river, catching salmon and sea-trout from the River Mawdach, Dolgellau!

Are you asking because you like or dislike the Welsh people or Wales? If so why?

its pretty straight forward and as a welsh man i say we always keep a welcome in the hillside and except for a small minority everyone is welcomed to wales we friendly decent folk who i might add only eat sheep the same as you i for one never judge anyone because of where they come from only by the way they behave i have English Scottish and Irish friends who i wouldn't swop for anything and i feel that most people will find wales friendly and welcoming as i do when i travel over the bridge we do have some cracking areas though // tenby is lovely as is loads of places and of course we have the best stadium in britain and a rugby team that's starting to do it proud but enough of that i will always say come to wales and you will see how nice the welsh people and country really is

The countryside, lakes and small climbable mountains. The water so pure straight from clouds that have crossed the Atlantic, if you like rain, it's the most and best! The pubs are good, it looks a lot like Ireland and except for the odd yobbo the people are pretty good.
