Can a dog and cat have babies?
Can a horse and a cow have babies?
Can a woman and a woman have babies?
Can a man even have a baby???!!!!
Common sense tells me that only people who can have a child together should have a need to be married....
Marraige forms a family, families are made up of man woman and children....
These families have their sex from instruments that were put on their bodies to make babies....
When the day comes when a woman can naturally make another woman pregnant,
and a man can get pregnant then maybe, just maybe a man can marry a man and a woman can marry a woman....
But then some day maybe pigs can fly!

First of all, gay marriage is a state issue--NOT a religious issue. There is a separation of chuch and state for a good reason and it should remain that way.
I'm afraid that a young man who is still an adolescent flopping back and forth between sexual preferences is hardly adequate "proof" of anything. Many adolescents experiment with their sexual orientation. Go to college, major in Biology, and THEN make your decision. I did a biological thesis on this very topic and, being a practicing Christian myself, was astonished at what I discovered.
For starters, 99% of all homosexual men possess (usually unnoticeable) bone mutations in the bones of the index finger of the left hand. 98% possess extra inner ear bones. Mathematically speaking, its awfully hard for a coincidence to get that big and not have some reason behind it. The proposed reason right now is because the same chomosome mutations that provided the body with these bone structures also contain ties to what makes a person homosexual.
Please keep in mind that the Bible was written during a very non-permissive time in history and was dictated by God, yes, but written by MAN and man is fallible. The Bible teaches us wonderful lessons that are applicable in everyday life even in the modern world, but should NOT be used as a method of persecuting individuals or making them to feel ostracized from the rest of the world. A true Christian does not tell people to "go ahead and burn in hell" any more than a true Christian would blow up abortion clinics or kill a murderer simply because the murderer had killed others.
Is it fair to allow men to "discipline" their wives through force? Is it fair for women to serve and "obey" their husbands? These are not practices that we observe today. We understand that women are people too, no different from men in their intellectual capacity and valuability to the workplace and the home. Yet the Bible tells us differently. It is, like I have stated before, a wonderful guidebook for a different time. Science teaches us things that help us to understand how to behave in a modern society.
It's people like you, my dear, that have given Christians such a bad name. God is based in love, NOT hate. If you are proud of all of this hate that lives inside of you then perhaps you are worshipping something else entirely. Please do not use God as an excuse for discrimination. That's the same thing that happened during the Crusades when so many were slaughtered and keep in mind also that slaveholders once used Biblical verses to support their rights to own slaves. We see these things now as abominable and wrong--which they ARE, but like your argument of discrimination, the "excuse" was the Bible.
Please rise above this and see that the Lord does not want to see discrimination, hate, and revolts among his people. Nor does he want you to attack someone using the excuse of their salvation when it is really the satisfaction of hurting them that you are after. You can hold whatever opinion you wish on gay marriage, my concern for you is the reasons that you hold that opinion. You may want to reevaluate just who and what you think God is and do some serious soul-searching.
God bless. :)

There is no way gays should marry, not just for religious reasons but legally the defination of a marriage is the union between a man and a woman. The defination would have to be changed.
Also...please don't preach hellllllllishly because that turns people off.
No one becomes gay to get attention from the news. Even though I belive gay relationships are morally wrong, I do believe that some people are born predisposed to certian things.
You need to ease up on your judgment kid.
You have a right to your opinions......
but God is the only one who can judge anyone.

Marriage is not about religion. If it were, atheists couldn't be married.

Is that an example of that "Christian Love" I've heard so much about?

Yes, religion really is against gays marrying.. I mean, if you're happy living together, maybe you shouldn't force the issue of getting married, ok? Don't mind what other people say because that's your life you're living not theirs..
But you SHOULD really try to see the reality of the situation. It's futile really..
What is against the will of God will not work out..

Why is it the only reason people use to ban gay marriage is because it is against God's will, but those same people raise hell if kids say the pledge of allegiance in school because God is mentioned or won't allow prayer in school because it is God related, they also don't want the 10 commandments in any court house and then wonder why the world is going to Hell in a hand basket?

Marriage is the foundation for a stable society. Gay marriage is bogus. Studies of so called committed homosexual couples demonstrates that they can't be faithful to their partner. The homosexual couple that is monogamously involved for the entire so called marriage, is so rare. Studies that supposedly showed 10% of the population is homosexual were done using a homosexual population of study (prisoners, etc.,) Kinsey was a homosexual who wanted the study to find a 10% solution. So he made it up. Less than 3% to 1% of the population is homsexual according to recent studies, and in addition to that have shown they have anywhere up to 5 to several hundred partners even if they are in a committed relationship. Homosexual marriage is NOT about marriage, it is about destroying heterosexual marriage.
If they can't be faithful, won't be faithful, why marry? Why not just keep living together if they are going to only stay together less than 5 years?
Only a father and a mother have been shown (proven in study after study) to give a child a real chance to grow up. All other combinations of so called families, mom and step dad, mom and mom, dad and dad, are inferior to mom and dad in raising a kid.

I pretty much agree with you. Homosexuals should not be allowed to be legally married. God's Word, the Bible says that it is wrong and that is where I base my opinion on. I personally wouldn't use such harsh language such as "burn in hell", though it is true. It is certainly not a tool to draw them any closer to the Gospel. Many people who aren't gay are going to die and go to hell. One of my purposes for living is to go out and tell them about Christ and the Greatest Gift that He has offered.

Not me..i think you have some issues that you need to seek help for. What compels you to come her and bash ppl for their way of life..why cant you just live and let live. I think ppl should have the freedom to love whom they choose to love without having ppl like you bashing them all the time. oh and about your friend..you cant just stop being gay...he may have stopped sleeping with men, but I can guarantee you he hasn't stopped desiring them. He probably just got scared cause you kept telling him he was going to burn in hell for doing something that makes him happy.

Gee lets break yahoo into separate groups, those who can spell and those who can't. Or maybe we should split it up by races, or maybe by who has money and who doesn't.
Maybe everyone should spend more time improving themselves (like learning how to spell ) and not being concerned with others lives. You sound like you may have a vast 15 or 16 years of life experience to base your bigoted comments on.
Before you ask or think it, I am not gay, I have a wife and five daughters.
