There is no underlying chronic disease or disorder, and yes I have seen a doctor, I just haven't felt hungry in a long time and making myself eat is kind of a chore. If you've been in a similar situation and found something that worked, I would love to hear from you. I stress that I am not trying to lose weight and that I have no history of eating disorders. Thanks in advance for any advice.

when I had my daughter I lost my appetite completely. I would drink only juice. how I handled it was every time i had a glass of milk, tea, juice, etc I would eat maybe a handful of chips or a little yogurt not a lot but maybe 2 spoonfulls. every time i had another glass I would add more until my body felt like wanting food. the trick is tricking your mind. if your drinking something strong eat just a little sweet (skittles are my best friends) if I drank something sweet I ate some with a little bit of spice. jUST DON'T PUSH YOUR SELF CAUSE YOU WILL MAKE YOURSELF SICK..

When I was training for an ironman event I didn't feel like eating at all when I should be taking in 3,000 - 4,000 calories per day. It was difficult to force myself to eat. I hated it. I wish there was a calorie pill I could take.

But later, I made it more of a social event. So after training sessions, we would go out to eat bugers and milkshakes. Having others around who enjoyed food helped me to eat better too.
We also tried different types of food, sometimes a real different type of meal will kick start your joy for food again. Such as spicy thai food, or sushi, or good tapas.

I hope this helps. Most of times it is only a phase we go through.

Perscription medicinal marijuana would help, if you are not alright with ingesting perscription medicinal marijuana, there is a perscription pill called Marinol. Which does not have the quite the same effects as ingesting it, but still similar. If your not looking to get stoned I would suggest Aconite, I am not as savvy about this ;-) but I am sure if you did a little more research you'd be in luck. Let me know if you decide to take advantage of these methods, and how they work out. Get back to me...

if you live in denver colorado by chance marijuana is legal up to one ounce there, then i would reccomend that.

Maybe it is just temporary.....hormones, stress lots of things could cause it.....unless you started loosing weight or start to feel bad, then I would see a doctor. Take care of yourself....Good luck
