No, I don't personally find that rude, but it does annoy the hell out of me when people use Cyber Abbreviations or type in all capital letters. To each their own, I guess.

Yes,it is quite...eh whats the word...annoying?I mean,usually when people say "Whatever",generally they do not care about what you have to say.So,yes,i do find it rude when people type "w/e",same as saying "Whatever".It basicly means they dont care what i have to say,and i usually have alot to say!
