I'm not sure, but if there isn't something he can do, there should be.
It's not like they are two teenagers They are married and he is the father. He has rights too! Unless this is a high risk pregnancy and she has a legitimate reason for not wanting to go through with the delivery or the baby is at risk. Good God, if she didn't want to get pregnant she should have been on birth control.
If she doesn't tell him she is pregnant, and sneaks off for a abortion, I would think this would be grounds for divorce.

I think since you are married, you can get an injunction to stop the abortion, but I would call an attorney first thing in the morning or it may be too late.
If you are not married, it would be a losing battle to try to stop her, but being married changes everything. Good luck

When my husband had a vasectomy, I had to sign a paper that I was OK with it. If I didn't sign the paper he couldn't get the vasectomy.
(unless he went to another doctor and lied about being married.)

I believe that in normal cases a married woman can not stop her husband from getting her pregnant (or having sex --except in special circumstances), or having a vasectomy and a man cannot stop a woman from getting an abortion or taking the pill. Sort of a stand off in both directions.

The answer "its her body" is bogus. The baby is NOT her body. It is the result of your DNA and hers and is a distinctly different human being. All a fertilized egg needs is time and nutrition and it will eventually be born, grow, and become an adult. It will never EVER be a part of her body. If it grows and becomes an arm or a leg, then it is hers. It is NOT her body. As to legal means to stop it? I can't answer that. See a lawyer.

OMG, that is the most selfish and sickening thing a woman can do, Im 26 and cold never do this.
Show her the pictures of aborted babies at ABORT73.COM go to the photographic evidence and show her, these pictures messed with my head forever, I never had an abortion and I did think of it at one time, now I couldnt even imagine doing that. She is going to destroy the best thing ever, period!
Print the pictures out and show her, she is going to kill a baby, not a thing.
It has a life and its life is inside her, how can you be married to a bitchh like this? Sorry, a woman, if you want to call her that.
I would divorce her f she had an abortion, i couldnt live with someone who killed my child, and babyhood passes so fast. let me know what goes on.

Check with a lawyer I do be live that this can be stopped, but do not know the legalities of it.
It seems to me that a man should have the right to stop his child from being murdered!
But first you have to be willing to raise the child on your own...She may not be ready to be a mother so if you want to fight for your child then be ready to take care of it!
So many fathers don't these days!

Unfortunately I'm afraid you have a tough road ahead ... I absolutely believe that the male should have rights also ... but it's going to be tough.

Look at our friend Lois above ... I bet she is a joy to live with ...

Anyway ... maybe try a nice romantic dinner with wine first to bring your wife to your understanding .. If that don't work, then I would seek an attorney ASAP.

Good Luck.

I would say , YES. But you'll probably have to get an attorney to stop her and this will create a lot of problems between the two of you. Plus if she is made to give birth to the child she won't have much to do with them and will probably neglect them. If you two stay together she may get jealous of the baby getting your attention. So you need to decide what your going to do when all of this hits the fan.You need to expect that she may want to get a divorce and if that does happen she isn't going to want the baby so question here is; are you prepared to raise the baby yourself if it becomes necessary?
