I cant really decide. I mean I think I can handle medical school. I'm good at memorizing and studying science. I'm ok in math just sometimes i need a little extra help to fully understand it. I want to become a doctor, but I dont if I'll be good at it......I'm not really interested in the nursing area, but i really want to do something in the medical area. So, yea what should I do? What are the pros and cons of each?

I don't want to be the person to crush a 13 year old's hopes and dreams but your statement is kind of contradicting. You want to become a registered nurse yet you are scared of needles? First you have to overcome that fear first, only then you'll become a successful RN. How do you become a registered nurse. You only need a 2 year degree to become an RN. Those who finish their BSN can teach or become a head nurse or DON. Strengths at sciences would be a plus, i.e. Mandatory science classes such as Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Anatomy& Physiology. After you've completed those, then you can take your nursing fundamental classes and such along with your internship or practicum. Good luck. Happy 2008.

nurses are in such high demand. if you become an RN, you could move anywhere in the country and make a great living.
my buddy's mother was a nurse in louisiana and got an offer in sacramento and then one in tucson. they paid for both her apartment and traveling expenses.
a doctor is a great profession. you should do whatever you think will make you happy in the long run.
if you plan on having a family one day and dont want the added work of stress....to say have more time to spend with kids....go with the nurse.

Become a doctor; but you'll have absolutely no life for the next 12 years. But if you become a nurse, you would earn less, but manage to have a life.

If you decide to go into nursing, later on, you can become a nurse practioner. NPs can do most of the same things as an intern. They can write prescriptions and see patients.

Being a doctor takes longer and requires more effort.
Both of them have a good pay, but doctors earn much more.
It's your choice if you want to enjoy more your life or make more money.
