I walked alot when i was pregnant and i went into labor a month and week early. So it may help if you go walking every other day. Good Luck.

Just keep walking. If this is your 1st it could take up to 41 or 42 weeks. If the baby is ready he should just fall out. Literally, sometimes if you bring on labor and the baby is not ready the actual labor and delivery becomes tiresome and unbearable. It is better for him to come naturally. I know what you are going through. Be patient and good luck...there are plenty of websites that give ideas from far east methods of stimulation to the most obvious and natural as you mentioned in your question. Hey keep in mind you can't have it for 2 months after so enjoy it while you can.

I feel you I had my son in August and from July on I wanted to be a mom and not be in pain...I walked, I had a lot of sex, I tried everything my doctor would not induce and I was going crazy finally my water broke on my due date and then I didn't have contraction for 20 hrs and they still would not induce I hate to say it but unless your doctor agrees to inducement (by the way I was induced with my older child and it hurt 150 time more with the drugs then my nature noninduced labor...I thin cause I was in so much pain before the baby came) you are going to have to let nature do its thing

Wait it out! I was near premature, they gave my mother a medicine to stop the labor. I would of been born 3 months early. If not for that medicine.

Since the miscarriage triggered in her, I was born with abnormal hearing. Which sucks! I miss out on life normal social life. Cannot afford hearing aids.

Don't go messing with the kids health, they'll the hospital/doctor will induce you when the time has past to long.

Have more patience! Do you got your emergency plan in place? Insurance cards, id, prepack your suitcase. Decided on baby's name yet? Talk to all in your family about your pregnancy?

Put on looser clothes. That should help. Can you use menthol rub, like Ben Gay on your soarness areas? Ask the doctor or a 24 hour hotline nurse phone number.

I know it's so hard to do, but wait until the baby is ready to be born. This last month is when the baby's lungs are maturing. It really needs this time to grow and let those lungs mature. Like a Dr. told me once: "the apple will fall off the tree when it's ripe" I know this isn't what you was wanting to hear, and I am sorry that you are so uncomfortable. It is well worth it in the end. Good luck and congrats!!

It says you are in pain, but could you maybe go for a short walk?
I don't like those things people say you can take to induce labor! It sounds a bit fishy to me!
I'm so sorry you are uncomfortable! I sure hope this ends for you soon!
Good Luck!

how about relax, let nature and God do it's thing and just be grateful you're having a baby?
And if that won't due, they say hot and spicy food helps. Try some Buffalo Wings.
Remember though, once the baby is out, all the sleepless nights, diaper changes, crying and trips to the dr. begin. Oh yeah, and the best years of your life.
God Bless and enjoy.

Sex (obviously with you on bottom is not safe, but the baby will be fine). Walking a lot will do it. Spicy foods or cator oil are also supposed to do it. Finally, warm calming tea is supoosed to relax too. I've never been pregnant so I don't have personal experience with these.

You are not going to induce your labor. What if someone on here told you to take something and it severely damaged your childs health or killed it. Go to the doctor tomorrow, and I hope you dont think of asking strangers how to care for your child in some crisis later.

Why not just follow throught the natural plan and wait until your are full-term and go into labor naturally? There is a reason a woman is pregnant for 40 weeks.
