Yes, they searched Asia to prove that Germanic people were descendents of a god-like master race.
Plus, the symbols of the 3rd Reich were pagan in origin. For example, the SS symbol was 2 lightning bolts and the swastika was a symbol from different ancient cultures, which carried different meanings. Hitler was highly superstitious as well.

Yes especially Heinrich Himmler. He believed he was a reincarnated version of King Arthur and that finding the Holy Grail would establish the Nazi party's pedigree as a 1,000 year order.

Maybe not to the extent you see in the Indiana Jones movies, but true enough. Many upper echelon Nazis were into occultism, and Nazi science was rather liberal on the standards of proof when it had to show it was right.
Hitler even took a spear often called the Spear of Destiny (supposed to have been used to pierce the side of Jesus on the cross) from its keeping place in Vienna after the Anschluss and had it brought to Berlin.

Yes..I just watched a documentary on that very subject on the History channel. Isnt that crazy?...Hitler himself was a big nut about fortune telling, and the mystics. In fact the Nazis were considered a cult before they became known to the world.

Yeah. It was the Aryan Nazis. Hilter gathered up all these historians and scientists to research and search for the grail and the spear of destiny more so than the ark.

Yes, there was actually a branch of the SS devoted to finding these 'mystical' objects, and fabrication linkages between the artifacts and the German people.

Supposedly, Hitler was very superstitious and had a fascination for the paranormal. He really believed that the nazis could harness the various supernatural forces and use them to further the nazi cause.
