That would depend on the spouse. Is he or she trustworthy? I have a few friends of the opposite sex i would never think of being sexual with but on the other hand some ppl dont have self-control and respect enough to be trusted.

I would like to say yes I would trust him, but I've been a cheater with a "friend". I know how it works. How involved is your spouse with the friend? Do they talk on the phone? Go to dinner together? Does your spouse spend more time with the friend than you? Take all things into consideration before making this an issue with your spouse.

I hate to answer in this manner, but no, I would not believe him. I just have a hard time with the opposite sex, friendship thing. It might start out that way but definitely does not end that way. I can only comment on my experience with this, others may have had different experiences. It might be possible, but doubtful.

Yes I would. Always trust unless someone gives you reason not too. It is very possible to have good friends of the opposite sex without anything else going on. Good luck!

In today's world? No. I'd be suspicious but, would accept her answer as the truth. I wouldn't let it influence how I acted toward her though, until I had proof. No sense living under a knife edge of suspicion. Marriage is supposed to be about trust and respect and love. If you leave out one of those, then you lose balance in your marriage. Opposite sex friends are possible, but as for me, I'd stay away from them if my wife was uncomfortable with it (and I am not married).

i just hate it when women fret over nothing, if your spouse is cheating on you, he might as well do it behind your back. i've seen so many of your kind i even had an encounter with one when the only person i knew and wanted to see was her sister- in -law living with them.
it's like wanting to rid the women race just to feel secure.
if you feel there's much more to these than mere friendship try and find out before jumping into unhealthy conclusions over nothing because if the woman has hidden feeling for your husband and you just go to him and accuse him of cheating you will be doing her a big favour of ending your relationship with him but if you notice any invading sighn from him or her you can confront him with it before it get out of hand.just be certain that not all women that say hi to him have any ultirior motive than being friendly.

Yes, until proven otherwise. Trust is the only glue in a relationship and if you are having doubts than it has nothing do with his friend, and you need to speak to your spouse.

Yes I would believe that my husband can have a female friend. We all live in a society when men will actually have to socialize with women. Unless you husband gives you a reason to think other wise you need to trust him.
