Is there really a PS3 and what's the deal with it?

I heard about PS3 on a Zellers flyer and i was wondering if there is a PS3, is it even out yet or when it came out, and what are the features of it? Is it better than PS2?

From the first few answers I've read, you've shocked me. It's REALLY $600.00?!!! Omg. Anyways, I have another question. I saw an ad about the Nintendo Wii on the same Zellers flyer (lol). i didn't pay much attention to it, but now I see it's pretty hot going right now. Can you give me the sneak peeks on it? Same info as I asked about the PS3. Thanks.

First of all, Where have you been, in a cave hiding out. The PS3 is coming out this November and your just now hearing about this. The PS3 is coming out this November 19th and retails for 599 bucks. It has great graphics and good games, it also sports a blue-ray DVD player that alone cost 1000 dollars, so paying 599 is not all that bad. The PS3 is very high tech and supports HDTV, the game line-up is good as well with tittles like grand theft auto, metal gear solid, kill zone 2, and Resistance fall of man. The Wii is cheaper at only 250 bucks, but the Wii does not support HDTV and the graphics are not as good as the PS3 is. Plus the game line-up is a lot of kid games for sure, but you can download a lot of old nes,snes and n-64 games for a small fee. The PS3 is for the hardcore gamer and the wii is a good system for fun. Some of the tittle for the Wii are a new super Mario game as well as super smash brothers and a new Zelda and Metroid game.

lol Have you been living under a rock? The PS3 was announced last year at E3 lol Anywho it's coming out November 17th at Midnight and it's gonna be.... *cough*$600.00*cough* ..... for a good one.... It's got way better features than the PS2 but I don't know a lot of it because I haven't been paying attention to the PS3 news... Since it's so high-priced I'm paying attention to the Nintendo Wii. Go online and go to GameStop.com or playstation.com for info on the PS3

yes there is a ps3. It will be better graphicly, but the price is way over what it should be. It doesnt come out until november and even the games will be in the 75 to 80 dollar range

dont waste your money on those soon to be obsolete consoles...buy a Xbox360 which has better games, better developer support, less likely to break, less expensive, same graphics as PS3, better [peripherals, and better online support and community via Xbox Live....360 is tha wave of the future...PS3 backing will be dead in a year and Wii wont gain any steam at all.!

yes the console will be coming out in nov.

but it will cost about 600 bucks.

i'd rather buy an Xbox 360 because it has better graphics and a cheaper price

A playstation 3 is in fact a real console, but i doubt that it's
any better than a ps2. I haven't seen it in stores but
i have seen them in those annoying pop ups. Win this,
it says, win that, it says. I haven't seen any special games for it,
so maybe it's no more than a finely remodeled ps2.

Id suggest an xbox 360.. easiest to get probably and most games on the market

Not nearly enough improvements to make it worth it's $600 price tag. It's due to come out in November, I believe.

yes its out there and its sifi name is the next gen and to me i ratherget the ps3 than the wii or whatever and you know that the ps3 is going to be better than the ps3 yhea but i might wait to the sells go down

it will be better than ps2 id assume. its graphics are better, thats all it improved. i suggest you get the nintendo Wii
