as far as I know there aren't any. Buddhism is a religion in which the goal is to acheive their journey to the Middle Way. They try to block out any worldly feelings and become 'in the world but not OF it.' People in that religion DO NOT worship Buddha himself.

There are no Buddhist gods.

Even Buddha is not a god even though some think he is.

He was the first enlightened one or 'Buddhi' and his name was Siddhartha Gautama - this might be a typo but his name wasn't written in this text anyway so who cares.

4 Noble truths of the Buddha:
There is suffering
There is the cause of the suffering
There is an end to the suffering
That end is found by following the 8-fold path to enlightenment

Buddhism is a very nice path and quite 'loose' - check it out if you want.

Buddha didn't want people to be worshipping anyone or anything, not even himself, although some buddhists do worship rituals in his honour. There are also serious rules of ettiquette for Buddhist images or statues, although Buddha didn't want people to be distracted by such stuff. His concern was similar to concerns about idolatry seen in Judaism and Christianity.

He meant for people to have an inquiring mind and to enjoy contentment

Buddhism is a philosophy moreso than a religion; Buddha was a spiritual leader and philospher, but not a god. In other words, Buddhism has no gods.

I don't think there are any gods, although Buddha accepted other religions. Because it is actually more of a philosophy and not a religion, it is quite appealing, compared to the other options.

Buddhism doesn't really have gods. The Bhudda himself (Little fat guy... poses for a lot of statues) is considered a sort of deity, but people don't consider him all that godly.
