I honestly doubt that anyone who has been paying attention...will give you anything for him. It is a pretty good bet that he will be flat out dropped in alot of leagues after today.

His stock is at an all time low right now so don't expect much. He's a few suggestions: First, aim high. Try Corey Dillon, 1 of the Jones's, Chester Taylor, or LaMont Jordan. Never hurts to ask. A more realistic trade might involve Leon Washington, Maurice Jones -Drew, Travis Henry (maybe), or Joseph Addai. Try to get Cadillac or R. Brown if someone is dumb enough to let them go. Edgerrin is obviously the best RB of the names listed, but behind the a terrible rush block, he's unable to produce jack. Good luck.

It will be pretty tough getting any true value for edge now. he really has been struggling. He is almost as bad as Lamont Jordan. Both on a horrible team and the value seems equal. Thats right , go trade him for Lamont Jordan.LOL. Just Joking. I have Lamont Jordan and he has been a huge bust.
Here are my thoughts on some of the earlier thoughts. Someone mentioned chester taylor. Well.. Maybe couple days ago. After todays big game against a very tough seattle rush D, You will not get him for edge.
Your not going to get Juluis Jones either. I won't mention the obvious star RB your not going to get for him
You do have a shot at frank gore. I say shot cause , some frank gore owners think very highly of gore and some owners think very lowly of him. I think him getting 90 total yards against SD D last week was an indication , he is here to stay. I like Frank Gore and if you can get Gore for Edge, I will take that deal.
Another player you probably can get might be Warrick Dunn. I have Dunn and if I was offered Edge for him , I would really be tempted , however , Edge really have tough schedule now.
Honestly, what I would do is wait until he has a 100+ yard game. Wait until his value gets higher. Thats what I would do.

Pretty much anyone would be better than Edgerrin James. Im guessing in your league there arent alot of RBs available.. Try Brandon Jacobs, Matt Morris, Ladell Betts..

Edge is still a premium back and there are those out there that would still take him. If Leinart comes through and truly opens up the passing game, the running will follow.....
If needing to trade....Thomas Jones, Kevin Jones.....
Those are both backs that have had a great share of fantasy points this year and the teams they play give them great opportunities.

Try maybe Cory Dillon or Marcus Jones of Jacksonville...both are good backup and starters in a pinch.

trade him for Chester Taylor, the tailback for Minnesota. he leads the league in attempts a game in rushing and had a great game today. Great trade to do.

brandon jacobs, with tiki talking retirement it would make sense for the giants to see if jacobs can fill in plus he does get goalline carries.
