A fun personality and a good sense of humor will get you there. Don't be afraid to be serious... or for that matter boring. Be yourself, completely. You'll find that when you are being yourself, you aren't boring at all.

I've always found that being yourself is best, especially if you can be excited about something--generally your life and what's going on with the people around you. Don't think of malice, approach people with politeness and respect, learn a lot that you can share. If the people with whom you're involve think you are creating drama and create drama's of their own, unless they are in the theater, they are the wrong crowd

That's a tuffy for sure. Find your center, know who you are and why you do things and follow your plan. Others, however, do not need to know your direction, just be light hearted and supportive of them, but know all the while that you are "who you are". The secret to this is to have a best friend that has your same moral indicator. That person will be your support and touch stone.
